About Me

Welcome to my website. I am a research scientist at the University Hospital of Tübingen, specializing in generative modeling and its applications in medical imaging. I received my Ph.D. from the Neuroscience Department at the University of Tübingen and the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics. Prior to that, I received my Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

My current research focuses on improving generative models using functional analysis techniques, including balanced GANs, score-based models, and efficient flow-based methods, with applications in medical imaging, such as high-field MRI (up to 9.4 Tesla). In addition to applied research, I explore the following areas:

  • Designing generative models, such as the combination of flow models and autoregressive models.
  • Leveraging multi-modality context for low-level vision tasks.
  • Advancing multi-modal generative models, including CLIP-based approaches for radiology images.
Aside from research, I enjoy playing basketball in university leagues and doing power-lifting. As a tech-fan, I also play around with Arduino boards and benchmarking ML frameworks and GPUs.
